The Kyoto building wins the “Prix de l’immobilier romand”
Innovation in response to complex challenges
The Kyoto building’s design was able to respond to technical constraints, in particular those related to the proximity of Geneva airport, while respecting the development phases of Green Village. The project is based on BIM (Building information modeling) and LEAN principles to optimise construction and provide high quality, modular offices while ensuring greater energy efficiency. The building’s architecture features a modular façade that combines aesthetics and functionality and is designed to blend in with its surroundings.
A strong commitment to sustainability
Each Green Village building bears the name of an emblematic international treaty on sustainable development, reaffirming its stakeholders’ commitment to the environment. The SNBS Gold-certified Kyoto building features photovoltaic panels for local energy production and optimised water management. Its demountable facades are evidence of a strategy to reduce life-cycle costs and demonstrate a respectful approach to the environment.
