A unique, designer lobby: you enter Kyoto as if in a warm, intimate boutique hotel

The Kyoto building features an original lobby concept designed by interior design studio Dimanche. The building's lobby is similar to that of some boutique hotels: a welcoming, unique and intimate atmosphere, comfortable spaces, great attention to detail, elegant furniture and curvaceous furnishings.

The entrance hall of an office building is not an ordinary space. In today’s context, where communal spaces are becoming more and more popular places for sharing, the design concept for the Kyoto Entrance Hall was to be different.

 Provide users with a unique and comfortable space

A focal point for social interaction, meetings and discussions, the Kyoto Entrance Hall is a multi-faceted space designed to enhance the well-being of the building’s employees and visitors through a number of measures:

  • The creation of a decorative ceiling that echoes the motif of the building’s façade to create a welcoming environment;
  • Wall and ceiling lights with diffused light to create a more intimate atmosphere;
  • Perforated wooden wall panels to improve acoustics and warm the space;
  • The hall is divided into three distinct zones:
    • The first zone is dynamic, with a high table and stools;
    • The second zone is a large lounge that invites you to relax;
    • The last zone has ‘ear’ sofas for relaxing or working.

Good food at work

This area also offers access to a coffee machine and a highlight: a Felfel smart fridge, built directly into the wall. This 2.0 fridge keeps dozens of healthy drinks, sweet and savoury snacks, and hot and cold dishes cool. The mantra ‘Good food at work’ is inscribed on the glass of the fridge, as an invitation to share a balanced meal with colleagues. This is complemented by an eight-seater counter.

The Kyoto entrance hall is thus a place of character, designed as a meeting place for all tenants and visitors to the building.
